The 58th SAAPMB Congress and School will be held from 8 – 11 November 2021 at the Radisson Blu in Gqeberha, South Africa.

The 56th SAAPMB Congress and School was held from 28 October to 1 November at the River Club, Cape Town, South Africa under the theme “New technologies and techniques”.

The 56th SAAPMB Congress and School will be held from 22-26 October 2018 at the Farm Inn, Tshwane, South Africa. This year’s Congress will be hosted jointly by Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Hospital (CMJAH), the National Metrology Institute of South Africa (NMISA) and Wits Donald Gordon Radiation Oncology Unit under the theme “Patient Safety and Quality”.

In 2017 Durban was the SAAPMB congress 25-27 September 2017.  The congress was followed by a three day workshop, 28-30 September 2017.

The 2016 congress was held in Cape Town with the theme “Training and Education”.  Several international speakers were invited.

The University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, was the host for the 2015 congress.  The theme of the congress was Imaging in Radiotherapy.  Several international speakers presented, including Prof K Tanderup and Prof M Stock.  This week long meeting consisted of a pre-congress workshop on 21 – 23 September 2015, the SAAPMB congress on 23 – 25 September 2015 and concluded with a expert scientific meeting 25 – 27 September 2015.
